In collaboration with ASCRS, the globally recognized International Joint Commission on Allied Health Personnel in Ophthalmology (IJCAHPO) will present its educational program focused on clinical and ASC/surgical training for technicians and nurses. This 2.5-day event provides an opportunity to gain expert knowledge on the latest trends in ophthalmology, including advancements in research, technologies, treatments, surgical techniques, and practice management.

On day 1, experts will delve into a variety of critical topics in ophthalmology, including MIPS compliance best practices for clinical teams and the latest advancements in corneal tissue addition keratoplasty (CTAK) for keratoconus. Leading professionals such as Laurie Brown, MBA, COMT, COE, CPC, and Peter Hersh, MD, FACS, will offer valuable insights to improve clinical practices and patient care. Attendees will also gain an in-depth understanding of anterior segment imaging and iris repair, with expert contributions from Yazan Abubaker, MD, and Brandon Ayres, MD. The future of glaucoma diagnostics will be explored through genetic testing, DARC, and other cutting-edge technologies, with Inas Aboobakar, MD, offering the latest strategies to stay ahead in the evolving field.
The Technicians & Nurses Program provides comprehensive learning experience, with all courses approved for IJCAHPO CE credit. Select courses are also eligible for CA BRN credit. Attendees can earn up to 15 IJCAHPO CE credits over the course of this 2.5-day program. For those looking to enhance their experience, a joint registration option is available for attending both the ASOA and Technicians & Nurses Programs, with crossover between the two programs permitted only for joint registrants. Participants registered solely for either the ASOA or Technicians & Nurses Programs will not be eligible for crossover. All registrants are welcome to attend the ASCRS Program.
